Happy Holidays!!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Charlie and a fun first Christmas. Just the look on his face when opening all his presents, and he loved all the lights. He didnt quite comprehend it all but he had a lot of fun playing with the paper or the empty boxes. I told Dustin we should have just got him some boxes and he would have been just as happy. He laughed and said "I know it"

Also those of you that didnt know, my sister n law and her husband adopted a little girl from Guatamala and they got to bring her home on Dec 16. She is absolutly beautiful and is adapting to her surrounding pretty well. She is already starting to crawl a little and she is 8 months old. Her name is Maria.

We all met them at the airport the day they arrived to welcome little Maria! I am sure she didnt quite know what to think at this point...there were lots of tears of joy shed that night.

Time Flies!!

This month is getting away from me, I cannot believe christmas is in a week and I am not even close to having my shopping done. I dont know about anyone else, but I cannot find the time to do it or get the ambition to fight the crowd. But I am just going to have to do it. This month has been so busy for us...My sister n law Amber just got married on the 9th and that was a great time...then my other sister n law Stephanie and her husband flew to Guatamala on the 10th to get there little girl Maria, and they are flying in tonight(friday at 9pm). We are all meeting them at the airport to welcome little Maria, then having a little get together at there house. I am so excited to actually meet her in person. She is absolutly beautiful. If you are interested in there little journey you can check out there blog spot....richteradoptionjourney.blogspot.com. Then tomorrow we head up to watertown for my grandma's 85th birthday. Then hopefully Sunday we can relax a little bit. I suppose I better try and get our christmas cards out to, life just never slows down at the Sejnoha house. Charlie is getting big of course, loving daycare, he is just a bundle of fun and smiles. I dont think there is ever a time he is not smiling, unless he is hungry, dirty or tired.

Happy Holidays!!

Christmas Eve!!!

Dustin and I got a call the other day from our church wanting to use Charlie in the Christmas Eve Morning Service's Play. So Charlie is going to be Jesus and Dustin and I are Mary and Joseph. I am actually pretty excited, those of you that know me know that I am not much for being in front of crowds, but it is a great oppourtunity for Charlie. Dustin's exact words were, "well as long as I dont have to speak :) " We are so much alike when it comes to stuff like that. But it is not a speaking part, but we are the main characters of the play. The lady that had called us made the comment of Charlie being to engaging to watch, which made me feel like a very proud mommy.
Sorry I have not posted in a while...life has been very busy for us. My sister n law gets married this weekend. We are all very excited, it is going to be alot of fun. I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. We sure did. LOTS of food. I have finally started christmas shopping and surprisingly we are almost done. I just dread going to the mall these days, because it is so busy and impossible to even find a parking spot that isnt 5 miles away :). We did get our christmas tree up but not decorated yet. I have to get all that stuff drug out yet. Dustin and I are so excited to have our first christmas with Charlie. He is going to be spoiled I have a feeling. Nothing wrong with that, right? Those of you that didnt know we are finishing our basement and only have carpet left and Dustin promised me by christmas it would be done, and he is doing a really good job. It is going to look Great when it is all done. Dustin has already planned on having a super bowl party at our house, he is just so excited to have it done to.

Well here are a few pics from Thanksgiving and some of Charlie

Hailey just loves her little cousin, she is always wanting to hold him whenever we see them. She is always letting everyone know, "this is my cousin Chowlie" it is so cute. He is getting to be so much fun, he is always smiling and is starting to sit up all on his own now. He is really getting strong.

4 1/2 Months Old:

C is already trying to attempt to crawl. He gets a little frustrated, but the majority of the time he has this cute little smile on his face.
He is such a big boy, you would not believe that he weighs 16lbs already, he is going to be a big boy...his favorite things are to stand while mommy or daddy hold him up or sit up with mommy and daddys help. He does not like to lay very long. He loves to blow bubbles all the time and copy mom.

ROLLIN......

Charlie rolled over for the first time....it was so exciting, the look on his face was like "oh what just happened." it was so cute.
Dustin left for Georgia on Wednesday until Tuesday. Today they went deer hunting, but the other days they are going to go Boar Hunting and deep sea fishing. They are staying at some type of a lodge and have guides set up to help them with there adventures. So it will be interesting to find out if he gets a boar. I will make sure to post a picture if he gets one, since he took the camera i am sure he will have all kinds of good pictures.
So this whole week it is just Charlie and mommy. We are having fun together. Tonight he is going to go and see grandma Sejnoha for a while why a couple of my friends and I take our friend out for dinner for her 30th birthday. So that should be fun. Then on Saturday we are going to head home to see grandma and grandpa Arnold for a while and come home sunday.
On Tuesday we went up and spent the day with dad during election day for support. It got to be a late night so we headed home about 9, but come to find out dad didnt win, but you do your best and hope people agree with you and like you, its politics as people would say, but I am very proud of him for trying, maybe in another 4 years he will try it again. but you never know.

Charlie is going to be ok, is doctor's appointment went well. The ultra sound wasn's showing anything unusual. So that is a good feeling. So thank you all for the prayers.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We did take Charlie out Ticker Treating for the first time to a few family members, but I could tell he was sick of being in his costume and was really tired. He dressed up as a pumpkin and was the cutest pumpkin out there, but I am kinda bias. He was such a good sport, but I could just tell in his eyes that he was wondering "mom why are you dressing me up so goofy?". So here are a couple pictures of him in is costume!!

When we got home he was so exhausted!

Little Charlie went to the doctor yesterday for his 4 month checkup and everything was fine, other than he has this 2 dimples/holes right above his butt crack and first when he was born he was in the ICU the entire time and the day we were going to be able to take him home, the doctors noticed the little dimples so they scheduled a ultra sound and checked it, thinking it might be something that would effect his spine, but when they checked it, it seemed to look fine so they let us go home, but now when I took him again this week, they looked at them again and noticed they are getting bigger, so he is scheduled for another ultra sound to get them checked again, so if you could all keep him in your prayers that everything will turn out just fine, the doctor mentioned something about a possible tumor, but I am going to pray and pray that it is not.
So please keep Charlie in your prayers and I will keep you posted after Charlie goes to the doctor Thursday morning.

Today is the day the boys take off for hunting, I was wrong when I said yesterday that they were going on a hunt with HRS, that is next weekend, this weekend they are going on the Governors Hunt in Pierre. He is excited!!! So we were up early getting ready for that.
Hopeing to get some good pictures of the guys and Govenor Rounds, because Dustin is taking the camera, but I made him promise he would not lose it. :)

12 days till election day!!! It has been pretty hectic around the Arnold household. Last night they had to run to SF to meet with a guy to give him an audio for a commercial, and then it is suppose to be aired on Monday night during the Vikings game so look out for that. I am very anxious to see it. Then to my surprise my mom made a commercial for the radio, not 100% when that one will be airing, but I thought that was pretty cool. I am planning on taking Election Day off of work so I can up and see dad during the Election. Dad was surprised when I told him I was taking the whole day off. I told him, "it is one of the most important days of your life, I wouldnt miss it for the world."

Steph and Dave have decided to go to Guatamala again for Thanksgiving. Unless they get a call that they have made it through PGN, then it should only be another 3 weeks after that, they would just adjust the airline tickets. Please keep them in your prayers, so they can have there little girl home soon.

Charlie wanted to say "HI"

Thursday, October 26, 2006

Today ended up being a very fullfilled day. Now I get to spend the rest of the night hanging out with my 2 boys. Charlie is swinging now, he acutally swang himself to sleep. So that gives me some time to get some things done around the house. Dustin leaves tomorrow morning to go hunting with his brothers and some co workers. Every year a vender of ours, HRS Foods plans a hunt and invites all the guys in the office. So it will just be Charlie and I this weekend. So tonight we will spend some time together, get Dustin all packed, which will be easy. Then of course we can not forget, Greys Anatomy is on tonight, which is my favorite show, I even got Dustin hooked on it. Then after that little Charlie will get his bath, which he loves.

Isn't he just the cutest, we just get the giggles when we take a bath, he loves to just lay there with no diaper, but cannot do it for to long, because you may get a little surprise :)
He is so precious to both of the best gift ever!!

Charlie did get dedicated in our Church on Oct 1, 2006. We invited out imediate family and grandparents, and some close friends of ours in town. Charlie did so good up on the stage. He kept grabbing at the pastors microphone it was so cute. The pastors comments was, "The way he is grabbing at this microphone, he may be a pastor some day or a singer." I told him well we will just have to wait and see. Tony and Angie (my brother and sister n law) stood up with us. We asked them to be Charlies God Parents. It was a wonderful event. We had everyone over at the house for a BBQ, and thank goodness the weather was nice. It turned out to be a beautiful day.

Well I going to sign off, Charlie is waking up!!
Last night was another rough night with Charlie, but it is getting better. But he wakes up in the morning just as happy as can be, you have to love it. So I am running on adrenalin (sp?) the last couple of days. It is all worth it though when those big blue eyes look at me with a big ol smile.
Today is pretty gloomy and cold out. I am not ready for winter yet, but when it gets here it is so pretty.

Today is going to be a busy day. I have billing to get out today and plus I have to work on Payroll while my sister n law went to LA to visit a friend until monday. So I better sign off for now, but if I have time later I will post some more.

Hi everyone, I am going to try this whole blog thing, so bare with me!!

Today I am extremly tired, because I was up with Charlie all night. He is going to be 4 months old on the 28th. I cannot believe it. He is getting to be so much fun, he smiles and coo's now all the time. He loves to sit up and stand, of course I have to hold him because he can not quite do it on his own now, but I think in a matter of time he will. He is so close to rolling over, it is so cute to watch him, because he gets to mad. He has this big vein between his eyes that just pops out it is hillarious. But he is starting to teeth now, so he is not sleeping to well the last couple of nights, but being a first time mom I am starting to learn all the tricks little by little. Charlie did start daycare about 2 months ago and he just loves it, he loves watching all the kids. The best part is when I go to pick him up and he sees me, he gets the biggest smile on his face and excited. Nothing can ever beat that, it is the best.

Those of you that dont know, my dad is running for SD State Senate. The election is less than 2 weeks away. I just know he is going to do Great!! He was recently in a construction accident also, he fell from some scaffeling 12ft above ground and broke both of his wrists, so now he has casts on both of his arms. He seems to be handling it pretty well though, he manages to get around, he started to drive since he had his casts on, which makes me a little nervouse, but if anyone can do it, my dad can. Mom is beinig very patient with the whole thing, God Bless Her!!

Dustin and I currently do still work together, along with all his siblings. It is a family owned business, which is a correctional contracting food service, along with 7 family owned resturants. Dustin is in charge of all the resturants, so he is traveling alot back and forth, but he always makes sure he is home at night so he can see his little guy (charlie) before he goes to bed. Charlie sure loves his daddy. I work at the Corporate office also, in the accounting department. I do alot of data entry for over 50 jails, and work in Billing also, so I keep myself busy along with helping whomever needs help in the office. It is sure a blessing to be able to work with family and see my husband everyday.

My sister n law and her husband are in the process of adopting a little girl from Guatamala. They have gone to visit her 2 times already, but it is hard for them to leave without her, which i am sure you could understand. She is already 6 months old and hoping to have her home very soon. We are praying that she can be home by Dec 9, 2006, which is when my other sister n law is getting married. She is the last of them to get married so we are all very excited!!
